m5 runs BAD when temp is at normal operating range

Guys, I have the car working well now at cold temp after start up - It starts easy and runs good until I drive for a while. As it gets closer to normal operating temp, is begins to cut out at low RPM. Once it is at normal temp is idles rougher, custs out bad to 2800 rpm and does not have power throughut the acceleration

I do not have the pin information for the Diagnotic port so I am blind trying to trouble shoot.

Any help would be most appreciative.

Here are the things I have done to the car:
New plugs, rotor and distributer cap, cleaned fuel injectors. Tested plug wires through Ohms test. Cleaned air filter.

The diagnostic port won't tell you crap. You will want to check for vacuum leaks, though that won't usually explain power loss at higher RPM. Also you will want to check fuel pressure. Did you send the injectors to Cruzin? Have you tested your coolant temperature sensor?

Thanks for the reminder - I went through and R&R all vacum lines.

I checked the colant switch at cold it was 560 ohms and at operating temp is was 260 ohms.

I don't know what you tested but if it was the Coolant Temperature Sensor it's defective per the values in the Bentley.

Bentley says the coolant temp sensor should be 300 - 360 ohms at 176 F and 2200 - 2700 ohms at 68F.You'll need the extrapolate the values to determine what they should be at running temperature and at whatever your cold temperature is.
