Hi, im patrick from holland and i have a 535 85' . My englisch is not so good so excuus me for that! A few other e28 entousiast friends a helping me to build an M5. The 3.6 from the e34 M5! Some specs;
535i 85'
M5 3.6 motor
e31 840 breaks
spax lowering with shoks 80/40
Nearly new M5 leader black interior
simons exhaust in rustles steal
trimt bumpers
M5 frontspoiler
17' bbs style 5
en loots of things that i forgat.

In a few weeks the car is going to the painter, than i can build it up an go!!!

I also have some e28's that i sell in parts here in holland, im am looking for a way so i can sell in the usa on ebay or something

thanks everywone! The rear seat was taking out for the suspension kit, the pictures was taking when i just bought the car, now it looks like this

my new interior

my new weals that dont fit!

becouse a have breaks of a e31 i must have 17 inch rims minimum so i bought the set whit new bridgestones. Last week we fit them and they dont fit! The wheel has a 'bump' on the bakeside. My brakes are so big that the bump to big to fit over the brake! 1800 dollar wasted... Now i have bbs style 5 in 17 inch that fits perfect! In the future i want oz futura or keskin kt1 rims but for now the bbs are good. Whit the M5 swap my savingpig is emty! So if anywone wants the borbet rims, the are for sale for 1500 dollar ex shipping!

The car was not so bad, first paint but i want it in top condition. My luck is that i bought the car for only 3000 dollar. In holland you can not find a 535 for that money. The engine has 315 bhp standard, but the men who i bought it from clamed that it has 350 bhp whit some modifications. I hope that between now ant 2 weeks whe can make a testdrive!

There are several 16" wheels that clear E31 calipers. Here's a run down of some that do:

E28 M5 wheels
E31 style 8
E31 style 9
BBS RS
BBS RG
BBS RA
Hartge style A
Centras

That's all I've tried on my car that worked.

Chris is correct, they're not the real deal. The clues to spot replicas, the 5 small holes between the lug bolt openings and the lack of removable lug covers.

Left had drive engine bay is different from right hand drive so I had to have a custom radiator built.
If you look at the picture you will see that you cannot see it!

Today we couldn't wait no longer. We've put a battery in and tried to turn the engine over. All relais worked but it didn"t start.
The starter just didn't make a sound. After a quick check it turned out that the bolt that holds the batterycable was painted along with the starter. After cleaning it it worked perfect and the engine started almost immediately!
There's a little leak in the front of the fuelline so it couldn't run to long, but that should be a quick fix.

Not so fast. Here is an official BMW AG photograph from page 13 of the 1992 BMW E34 M5 brochure showing those very details-- yet another (albeit rendered) variant! The wheels shown on the E28 in question are not genuine BMW wheels.

Do you have any pictures of the rear? I was curious to see if you have the chromeline or shadowline tails, and if your trunk lid had the m-tech spoiler.

I didn't see a color posted, is it Arktisblau?

Regarding the M-Turbine II wheels - I agree that these ones look like one-piece replica's. Note that the picture showing a glimpse of the right front wheel shows the correct orientation.

It's been a while that i posted something of my car.
In march this year i started my own company in 2ndhand bmw's. Because the investment of lots of dollars (euro's here) the project is going slow. But...... Last week the steeringpowerpump is restored because it was leaking.
Finely i droved the car normaly and feel i bit of the power! Wow... Because the windows are still out, i putt it in 2end gear and that;s it! Lott's of power! What to do:
some welding, antenna hole and some little things
let the engine check by a rebuilder, the engine had not run for 3 years before it's instaled in the e28
Al bushes rubbers etc change for powerflex (i think?)
Now i have a spax kit, that must be a full coiloverkit so i can change height and setting of the wheels.
Than the painter...

My money is going to my company so the e28 is going slowly. I have to eat from selling and buying cars so i must be carefull in what i do whit my money. Somethimes cars selling verry fast, the last months it's verry bad.
