Autohaus AZ - can't beat the selection, pricing or shipping policy. If they don't have it, try Pelican and if they don't have it order from the dealer or its prolly NLA
Bav Auto has gotten too expensive and their shipping policy is not competitive - they will not match prices unless you can prove the competition has identical parts I believe their special order parts come from Mobile Traditions - save yourself the time and money and order direct from the dealer.

I've always found Pelican's service excellent and even with postage to Australia, sooo much cheaper than BMW here.
Pelican does have great service and I will still use them if it's something I need fast and AutohausAZ doesn't have it.
For non-dealer stuff I use Autohaus. Free shipping, no sales tax and I receive my order within 48 hours.
I have been using Tischer for dealer stuff but plan to give Steve a try next order.

I'll throw www.GermanAutoParts.com in as well.

I use AutohausAZ. Yes, I pay tax. I don't care. Also use Tischer a lot.skip535i wrote:Everyone is swearing by BluntBillW wrote:Pelican?

Anybody ever used this outfit? I came across them last night for the first time, based in Germany so probably not the first stop for US E28 drivers but they seem to have a useful enough selection of stuff, albeit not overly cheap....

Recently I have been using a local import parts place.
Import Parts Specialists
http://www.importpartsspec.com/cart/default
Their website prices don't reflect the actual price of parts it seems; website is usually higher. They are local for me and have most parts available within a business day. I just can't beat that.

Nat at Atlantic Euro in W-S knows the world of E24 and E28 very well (he's one of the founders for SouthEast SharkFest) and has good connections. Excellent guy.

I just bought some brakes for my 325iX from Steve at www.blunttech.com. Service was fast and prices were good, I'll use him again.
