strangely enough that looks like the eta i passed along this past summer. at any rate welcome to mye28 and as a word of advice before people bombard you with the most annoying response ever, try using the search link at the top before asking for advice.

searched and ???

Post by joegreen »

right on! i have been searching but i have a question i cant find the answer to anywhere, i did find some old post about some folks looking for e30 front valances but nothing concrete where they state "im looking for a e30 valance to put on my e28 because ive done it before and it works..." that would be the ideal post...but any way...at the local pick n pull there are a lot of e30's in particular e30's with nice valances, i looked and did some measuring and it looks like they would fit the e28 with little or no modification, is this corect to assume???

The e30 is narrower and an e30 valance will not "bolt up". Go to the Eye Candy section on this forum and somewhere up top there is a spoiler thread stickied for our conveniance, I suggest you check that out to get some options and ideas where you may want to go.

A couple of things;

First, change the timing belt if you don't know it's history for sure.

Second, see you at Tex-Fest 2010.

Welcome to the board.
