On my non-turbo 5er I have had a serious suspension problem arise. It seems as my car is getting harder and harder to control as the days go by. My suspension seems to be totally independent from the body of the car when driving down the road. The body of the car seems to roll bakc and forth like a bar stool instead of rolling side to side like it should. Driving down the highway is the WORST. I cant switch lanes without the car going any which way that it feels. Driving at low speeds the car has trouble staying in one spot on the road, just wating to go sway back and forth. Acceleration is also bad. When I step on the gas, the cars body will pull to the right while the frame will still want to go forward. Tj is thinking it s the subframe bushings, I have no clue. My dogbones are SHOT as I just checked those today so those are next on the list to replace also. Are the subframe bushings this problem? When jerking the wheels left to right fast, it seems that the body dosent keep up with the frame like a normal suspension does. Let me know if any of you have had the same problem and what (all) parts that should be replaced. Thanks.

This is Tj - are we confusing ya'll yet? 
I replaced his tie rods and center link already. His sway bar links look a little worn and I don't know the condition of his steering box mount thingy.
The symptoms he talks about really seem like shot dogbones and subframe bushings - the car will "steer itself" under acceleration, and will steer itself under normal driving conditions as well.

The car steering itself one way under acceleration and the opposite way under braking is a classic symptom of shot subframe bushings.

When my subframe bushings went, accellerating made it feel like the tail wanted to steer to the right as well. Lane changes were also fun.
The other component of that, though, was the front steering linkage (tie rod, center link, idler arm). Just replaced those as well, and now the car is very, very tight. New shocks and springs helped.
