I've been told that euro-spec cars came with rear diffs that are not interchangable with US spec models (that is without changing alot of other parts, assumably half shafts.)
Can anyone confirm or deny this?
I'd like to swap out the diff that I have (2.56) for something a bit more streetable...
Yes and NO. The euro cars have bigger diffs in most cases than the US cars but you can run a US diff, but you will need the half shafts also since some Euro diffs are not equal length halfshafts like the US cars (if I recall correctly).
