Injector swap issues/ idle
After switching to my 400 mi old 4-port mustang injectors, I am having some issues with drivability. There is a slight hesitation upon any throttle input, and idle is a bit rough. It is quite evident on acceleration say from 5 mph in 3rd. There is that sound of a slight miss on one cylinder. The problem has gotten better, once I replaced a few of the o-rings I crimped on the initial installation. I really am getting tired of tearing the install down and re-doing it, but my car did run perfect before the swap, and I can't stand this lack of smoothness and power. There weren't any vacuum leaks before the installation that I was aware of. I used the stock ford O-rings for the install as they are essentially brand new. What can I do to check for vacuum leaks from the injectors? I thought of spraying water on the manifold where the injector seats, but I'm not sure what that will show me. Anybody have this problem on an injector swap?

Spray WD-40, the aerosol based stuff around each suspected vacuum leak. If the engine speed increases you've found a vacuum leak.
About o-rings, you should replace them with new o-rings when you install new injectors. I'd almost be willing to wager you didn't lubricate the o-rings before you installed them. IMO< you should buy all new o-rings, the correct bosch part, then R&R each injector o-ring using an acceptable lubricant (clean wheel bearing grease, vasoline, lithium grease) anything that won't attack the o-rings.
ALso check all the other vacuum lines and intake bellows while you're at it. You might have actually induced additional vacuum leaks while goofing around with the injectors.

Update:
While testing for vacuum leaks using the WD-40 method described above, I realized I could pinpoint the problem if I tested each injector. One at a time, I removed the electrical connectors for the injectors to see which one was the culprit. Each removal made the car run worse except injector #5. So, I will be swapping that one out for the spare I have. Update to follow!

Well, it looks like after the swap, the car ran equally badly. Not one to give up that easily, I decided to button her up and test the car with load on the engine. So I tightened all the connections and took her out for a spin, and voila! Smooth as silk. Now I can really feel the performance increase of adding a 3.73 LSD!
