Today, my headlights would not work. Didn't know why, but I pulled my Bentley and did every exercise in the book. Still no lights. I had other weird issues as well, including license plate lights, low beam check relay light, windshield washer fluid low check light.......you name it.

Well, as it goes, yesterday, while tearing the injectors out, I disconnected the battery at the negative cable against the driver's side fender as you are supposed to. Well, when I reconnected it, I missed one of the loops, ......guess which one......the FAT one with about 8 ground wires. Needless to say, after TWO hours, I figured this out.

Had to vent. Live and Learn. Check the stupid, small stuff first.

I've had problems like that -- where you scoure around EVERYWHERE looking for the problem and in the end it's something stupid like a loose battery connection or something.

Adult A.D.D. I got a bad case of that.
Here's one for ya: A week after a tune up in my old subaru, a terrible knock was coming from the motor after some dirt drifting, after cursing for an hour I put the car away for a month thinking I threw a rod. I decided to take the car on it's last leg beatdown, so I took it over some jumps in the feilds and beat it and beat it. Still goin like the energizer bunny, turned out to be a loose sparkplug. I admit I can be a dumbass (@)

I was adjusting my valves over the weekend. Tried to turn the motor over with the transmission in reverse and parking brake on for a while. Spent a few minutes looking for the 7th cylinder that still had the spark plug in and was on the compression stroke- there is none.
