CTS-V Challenge, any stock e28 M5's feeling lucky?

Post by bob knox »

Cadillac is taking on the world of performance sedans. Any non-modded car can throw down a hot lap against the current CTS-V at the Montecello private track in NJ. I'd be curious to see what RoyW could do. Sign up by today Oct. 16th.

Not sure if anyone here remembers Kamil. He, the Enchanter, and I all owned the same M5 for different periods of time before it got parted out by TCD. Anyway, Kamil has a very good friend with an e60 M5 (they went to M school together), and he was selected to drive against the CTS-V. Follow the action at Kamil's new web page:

Kamil was a good guy, good to see he's still in the mix! Best of luck to him. The e60 M5 is certainly a capable car. I wonder if they'll be allowed to use track pads and R-comps.

Hmmm....

with track pads the M5 should give the CTS V a run for its money...I SOOO would like to see a great driver in the M5 spank the CTS V with John in it.

They ended coming in 3rd behind the new CTS-V and a new M3 sedan. Kamil will have a write up soon.
