Just wanted to know if Boge Turbo Gas shocks and struts are compatible with most types of lowering springs. The 535iS came with Turbo Gases on it due to the original owner replacing the Bilsteins. TIA

They should be fine. IIRC, Bilstein is the only manufacturer to build a shorter shock absorber to accommodate shorter springs. Even so, I'm using a set of standard length Bilstein HDs on my 535is with shorter Eibachs and have had no issues with them.

It will depend on what springs you use, if you go with Bav-Auto you will need a sport shock. I had Bilsteins HDs with Bav-Auto and the shocks stayed bottom out all the time....

That's 'cause Bilstein's have an internal bump stop, don't ya' know. :p

Yep, I know it very well, got to ride around on them all the time before the Koni Adj's.......
