M Registry?
M Registry?
Have all the M5 owners on this board registered on the M registry site?

I have seen that before, just forgot about it. My car is already listed in there although it is listed under a previous owner now two removed from the car (Andrew Skopp). Is there a way to edit that data to keep it fresh? I am sure there are many PO's there.
Also interesting to note, is that my car is one of three listed sequentially with black interiors. There are a couple missing s/n's in between, wonder if those were black as well.

Yes, I got on there a couple years ago.
BTW if you own a car that is on the registry by a previous owner you can email the guy that runs that site and he will change the ownership and i think he got me to the listing so i could update photos etc.
For you guys that missed this here is a link to a very detailed discussion about the black interior cars and a list of VIN's.
Mine was in a list of 11 sequential numbers.

Yep, 2791419 since 2004!
Forgot my login though. Should update it.
My friend here with the other local M5 actually met the guy who started the registry recently in Los Gatos, completely randomly. The guy was on a bicycle and had been checking out the car, complemented my friend on it, then said he recognized the VIN! Apparently he's selling one E28 M5 with 50 or 80k miles for another with less miles.
loong time ago
