Last weekend I replaced the power steering puump do to a terrible groaning and restriction when I turn and it continues even when I am not turning with a pulsing noise very loud and obnoxios. also my brakes are spongy. I replaced the pump sunday night. What happens??????????? The damn thing is still doing it but even worse!!!!!!!! What the hell? where did I go wrong? I have been told it is just a filter or the brake accumulator. I'm gonna start with the filter, I have it on order. Coming Monday. If that doesn't work I'll try something else. But what I am wondering is why it got worse after I replaced the pump, I hope I am not being mislead and spending money for nothing. Would somebody please lemme know whats up with my baby... she's sick and I can't help her and will not trust her life to any of the redneck junkheap garages around here there isn't a dealership for 120 miles from where I am!!!!!!

Dealership for an 86 model car, are you nutz!!! The dealership guys that worked on that car under warranty or soon thereafter are either managers and not wrenching anymore or have Their Own Shop!! If you need service on your car, ask around to folks with cars that you think the owner would want properly running all the time. See where they go.
Probably a used pump no better then the one you took out. Hope the filter fixes the problem.
