528e WAKE UP

so im driving a 1982 528e fairly good condition.

would like to wake up the driving experience and was curious is a 1989 325is:
-Engine 132k miles w/computer, alternator, wire harness a
good swap? any one who has attempted this have opinions or advice?

guy wants $400 for the motor and all the extras.

thank you bimmerguy i just realized my mistake. although i guess my question would be a bit different than his due to the fact that mine is an 82 and im talking about swapping in an 89.

same thing, you will just need to use a few parts from the e28 m20 and you are set!
You will need the 3.73 diff too
