I'm a lumberjack

Post by w0014170 »

Being fed-up with heater control valves and their inability to work 100% for any length of time, I bought and installed on the road yesterday, while returning from Florida to Baton Rouge,
brass & stainless ball shut off valve, like the old MG's & Jags used to shut coolant off to the heater core allowing the A/C to work in a beautiful manner.
I'm happy now, 48 degree A/C at the center vent, 64 degrees in the foot wells down from over 100 degrees. If it gets cold enough to use the heat, simply opening the valve supplies the necessary BTU's.

That's correct, I RIGGED IT, I'm happy

The title just jumped into my head, a great song in the Monty Python tradition.
