I am an original e28 owner, and your posts have helped me to keep my car in close to original condition and on the road.

It would be nice to hear from some of you, but particularly from William and Christine, who started this whole e28 thing after Roadfly dumped us on the roadside.

Other than occasionally checking messages on mye28.com, and sponsoring mye28.com, what are y'all into today? OK, I know about the Tech B52 guy, since he posts every day, but where has everyone else gone?

Shifty is supposedly moving to Chattanooga to be closer to that one fella that works at the dealership here ;) . Other than that, I have no idea what happened to everyone else.

Dave Crawford moved to Austin. He drops in every few months.

Couvillion is out of the Air Force (could be regretting it), married and just got a new job in Noooooga.
Army helicopter guy with a German wife.
My wife is now a US Citizen, am still in the Army and live in Kansas.

Chris Graff does check in every so often, although not so much in the general conversation folder.

Hey Stuart!

That is correct. I check in every so often. Mostly though I'm too busy with my daily life chores and work (big surprise). Oh, and still getting that built M30 "B36" (see my website for latest updates in the Engine Tech section) broken in...

Oh, and it's Rob Anderson (not Rod). We're still good friends. He's now working at BMW in Greenville, and therefore cannot volunteer much information directly on here anymore (potential confidentiality issues). He's more than willing to help out, so you ask him a question directly via email. He's a bit busy with wedding plans at the moment, but he's got an S38 B38 he's refreshing that'll go into his E28.

I still have a tattered copy of Sam Chien-Lin's idle FAQ. Isn't that what most everyone used to adjust the AFM impedance?

Also I saw that William Knapp's "euro" 535i was for sale in the December Roundel.

Daniel is easily reachable through his website. He has never owned an E28; in fact, I doubt he's ever owned a BMW. Has an old Volvo, though ...

Don is more often at the BMW MOA forums lately. He is a Club Ambassador.
