I have droped my asking price on Florida Craigs list for my car, Its now at 8700 obo. Not perfect by any means but worth 3x that to me...Thanks all.

So here is what I know, I have bills for much more but these are the important ones.
Inpection I @102,966, 128,106
Inpection II @ 83,396, 115,260, 151,683, 187,697
all clutch components @ 133,704
all seats recovered(apears to be oe) 2/25/99
dash board replaced 3/5/99
car was in accident 10/20/98 right doors repaired and hood repainted. door repair was not very good tried to show it the best I could in pictures. Not a total repaint.
I purchesed the car 5/10/2005 with 159,427 and put new water pump and fan/clutch as well as fluid changes before I drove it home from Atlanta to Fl.
SLS is intact/not leaking
Like I said tons of other things have been done, for more specifics let me know

That is a nice unmolested NA M5. You may regret letting her go at that price. IMO, it appears to be in better condition than many that sell for more. Very photogenic.

anyone remotly interested??? I dont want to have to no reserve ebay it so some 16 year old can buy and destroy it. Also, if you are a first time looker at my flickr photos please note that the first photos are whats wrong with the car, the side albums give a beter first impression. VIN are shown in album as well. Somone ran a car fax and said there is a good # of emissions retests as well as the already mentioned collision. I will listen to ANY offer!!! I love it but I must sell.

By your estimation, how badly was the car damaged when hit on the right side?
I can see a little dip in the rear door in one of your close-ups, which doesn't seem so bad, but you also mention that the hood was repainted, dash replaced, and seats recovered shortly after the accident, which might indicate a pretty serious t-bone. Of course, the painting of the hood may well have been done just because they were painting anyway/highway chips..

I dont think it was all that bad doors were repaired(# match) I dont think any of the int was replaced because of damage from collision, because no interior door pannels were replace, just seat covers and dash. Thanks

Nice car.
Are there any records of the timing chain guides being replaced?
Has anyone done a compression and leak down test?
Are the seats the same color as the original color?
Photos are difficult for things like that.
Are those the original wheels with metric tires?

Big time!!!! The guy came from South Carolina didn't get in town till 11:45 at night, so he stayed at a hotel tll the morning with it on a trailer, I drove by 1,000 times to say good by on my way to work.
