I am assuming this is for a 535? I have one that is in good shape. Any rust would be surface rust as it has 20 yrs of oil on it. 50 $ + the ride Aliosman

pick n pull junkyard in hammond, IN my friend, there is a 535is ripe for the pickin and a bunch of e28's hurry before i get all the parts. $1 entry part will probably be like $10-15 after you pull it. good luck!

That's not an A-frame, obviously, as it's not A-shaped. It's a subframe or crossmember.

there are a few e28 that have no engines that would be an easy pull of the crossmember/ k member (as known on mustangs).

Actually it is a "front axle support" according to BMW's ETK, helpful for those that use the search function.

a nearly 900 dollar part new. Ouch.
