This upgrade is just known as the "Euro Seatbelt Upgrade." E23s got these fancy-pants clips on the b-pillar and E28s didn't. I think it's because BMW knew the 7er owners would be driving with the windows down. It is nice to have for the passenger side is that seat is unoccupied and the windows are down. When mounting, check that the location allows full retraction of the seat belt. (don't mount it where the buckle will be when the belt is retracted, [measure twice cut once ])
