I know of several folks from the Tampa Bay Area who are going to V@V in the e28 community: DMNaskale & Azure (in one car), Bronzit Bill (caravaning with me on 5/22 Thurs), Adrian (not sure of his plans), and probably several others.

Drop a line to Bronzit Bill (lives in Largo area)...will be leaving from there on 5/22 (Thurs) at 0-dark-30 to arrive in Gainesville 'round 7:30am to rendezvous with me so we can continue up RTE 301 and ultimately through JAX and I-95 North...etc.

Just so you guys know. My plan if to leave on wednsday and stay with a friend wed night. I will see you guys in winston-salem on thursday.l am staying at the Hawthorne inn and convention center.Im sure there will be some canadian beer flowing over there thursday night. Swing on by!
I think my plans will deviate from the norm. I'm thinking of driving up on Wednesday to Robbinsville, NC and spending night. Then the highlight of Thursday morning & early afternoon will be spent motoring about (couple passes on Tail of the Dragon, half of the Cherohala Skyway, etc). Maybe even take a bit of a southerly detour to hit NC-28 down to Franklin for a late lunch. If I recall, NC-28 was a nice road Adrian and I took on the way north to South Bend. Then I'll blaze east, taking I-40.
If all goes to plan, I should roll into Hawthorne Inn around 6-7pm or so. Maybe earlier if I don't stop in Franklin.
