I just finished producing a small batch of 14" front brake kits for late serie e24, e28 and e34 racecars. It requires 18" wheels though.
That kit is similar as what I already supply for e46 M3s, but with much, much deeper aluminum hats. It is available with SL6R-14 and W6A calipers.
I will post pictures when I am back from a track weekend, on Monday. In the meanwhile, you can look at some pictures.
----- Major edit ----- I initially designed this 355mm x 32mm kits for the heavier e34 chassis which has similarly designed hubs as the e28 (except for the set screw location, and shares the same rotor/mount spacing. Therefore, this e34 kit will fit the e28 and late e24. Is it required for driving around town? Certainly not. Could it make your e28 racecar faster? It will. The calipers have stainless steel pistons and no dust boots to melt. I have discussed with Erik Branford and we will probably do some testing on his M6 racecar. I have just installed a kit on an e28 strut and the fit is perfect in rotor-caliper centering, and alignement of pad with rotor's bevelled edge. Mission accomplished.
I have tested the kit on an e28 strut with 17" wheels. It offers 1/4" clearance all around.
