F.S. AC Schnitzer Wheels

Post by RickyLamb »

I had not thought about selling my 18" Rensport 3 piece light weight AC Schnitzer wheels. They have some dents and scratches. I am planning on sending them out to have them re-trued and rings polished and centers painted charcoal. A set sold on EBay last year for $3,000. If I got an offer of $2,500.00 (taking in consideration the need to be trued) then I would consider selling them. But they are the prettiest wheels I have ever owned. So it would be a pure struggle on my part to sell them. I just thought I would put these up to clearify that I was not intentionally encroaching on someone else's post. Best of luck these will look remarkable on my 535i.

Uhh... wut? Are you trying to buy or sell these? :dunno:

BTW, you put this in the For Sale / Wanted - Cars subforum.

Not Confused at all

Post by RickyLamb »

I was asked if I would sell my Schnitzers. After thinking about it I would accept an offer of $2,500. That would be $500 less than they are worth in perfect condition. Turbax Wheels in Miami will refinish and re-true for far less than $500.

So I hope that clearifies any confusion I caused here. This is a very tuff group of Bimmer Lovers I have to say.

Well, it didn't seem as if you were responding to anyone in particular. Was it in another thread or a PM?

BTW, the word is "clarify," as in "clarity" (not "clear"). ;)
