Hi,
I'm posting this for a friend.
It's a 1987 M6, w/ 140k... black over ivory.
It rides on genuine 17" Alpina wheels, with new Bilstein shocks.
It has a upgraded M50 timing chain tensioner, adjustable cam sprocket and Bavauto chip.
It also has a new water pump, starter, belts and hoses.

I thought that was a really sweet looking coupe...that is until I saw the engine. That looks like it's gonna need some expen$ive TLC.

I agree! By spending a little time with a tooth brush, degreaser and scotch brite, he should no issue getting the 12k he wants...

a lot of the aluminum will not toothbrush clean and shiny. That is what an engine compartment looks like up north if it is not cleaned regularly. If there are not other issues with the car, the price reflects the condition of the engine. Someone can but it and pull parts off the engine and clean the whole thing up and have a car that will show in pictures to be worth much more.

thats pretty much what 12,000 gets u in a nice m6, really clean ones are pushing 20,000 or more now, i think that car looks very nice for the money
