FS: 1987 BMW 535i

I don't want to sell it, but I really need the cash right now. The e36 takes precedence over the e28. I'll sum it up. Let me start with: It's FAR from perfect.

It's an '87 535i 5 speed. It's odo stopped at 103k, so it's a bit north of that, but not too far to my understanding.
The paint shines, but the front has no clear-coat, so it looks like a slightly different shade of white, but it's not. Everything pretty much works.. Full power seats, while they show their 22 years of wear, still work. Window regulators are good, and it runs like a top. Very minor surface rust hidden in the trunk jamb and the door jamb. Nothing extreme by any means, but still there. One rust-through spot in the spare-tire well. Trapped moisture does that :(. Interior is all original, so of course, the dash is cracked.
The body has only one flaw.. a minor dent in the passenger front door, visible in the pictures below. It's baseball sized, and will easily come out if the door card is pulled out; I just haven't had time to do it.

This car is far from perfect. I'd almost consider it at "project" level. I daily drive it without any issues. It's what you'd call a 20' car. 20 feet away and it looks great. Get close and you see the minor imperfections. This is why I want to sell it to someone on here.. an enthusaist, who will make this car shine.

Again, the exterior is overall in good shape. One small dent, some hidden surface rust where the paint has cracked inside the door jabms and such. VERY minor; but I'm an honest person.
The drivetrain is sound.
The interior is definitely used. I'll get some pics up tonight or tomorrow. The driver's seat is heavily cracked/torn. The passenger seat is cracked, but has no tears or anything yet. The rear seat is fine, as is the carpet. The console and pieces are nice, and the dash is quite cracked. Over all, it's average condition.

The car will NOT come with the borbet type A's pictured. You can have your choice of wheels depending on how much extra you would like to pay.

I also have an original Hartge spoiler that I removed from the car. I can put it back on the car if you want it. Last pic shows it.

Price: $2500 obo

I am in Franklin, TN, which is just south of Nashville.

Yes, that is a set of BBS RS211's in the back seat.

The mechanicals - clutch, tranny, diff and engine ..all good?

If it comes w/wheels & wing, I'd fly down w/$2500 cash - could I drive it to Md? Oh yeah - how is the spare wheel well? Rusty?
