FS: M30 engine w/ all accesories $280

Post by robisconfusedd »

Alright guys i have an M30 engine out of an e23, which is in good running condition, i have every accesory still bolted to it (compressor, power steering pump, alternator, waterpump), and you'll receive it with everything attatched to it in the pictures.. i do not have the wiring harness for this engine though, but those are easy to come by.. other than that, it is ready to run

$280+shipping, or $280 local OBO, i know these are a hot swap for an e28, and if you are local i'll help you for free if you'd like :)

Thanks for looking and feel free to ask questions

oh and by the way i have BOTH exhaust headers/manifolds that you will get attatched to the engine when you receive it, i just don't have pictures of them, and they were not bolted up when i removed the engine

anyway thanks again! :)

Judging by the distributor and Euro bumpers on the E23, this is the hotter high compression Dirty B34...a steal at this price!!!

and it has just over 200k miles on it (203k to be exact), and I am located in Ft.Worth, Texas, sorry i forgot to mention that!

Thanks for the interest guys

Almost looks like it has a Sanden rotary AC compressor

Someone should get this, seems like a great deal

Hey guys, Sorry for the delay, I just replied to all of my Private Messages, thank you for all of the interest, it's appreciated

oh and it came out of a 1982 745i... incase you were wondering...

the turbocharger had failed though, and is not coming with the engine, as someone else took it

edit:: and incase you were wondering about the legitimacy of the model car it came out of...

that's all i can offer.... it was directly imported from Germany back in the 1980s to my knowledge(sadly i was not the original owner.. and yes i know the paint has seen better days.. haha)

it was only $150 to ship it to me,and im in arizona, so should be the same cause its about the same distance to you. i didnt pick this up, cause its a lower compression version. if was the 218hp version it be in my garage.

I'm having a hard time buying this is an m102. Was the turbo on the engine or did someone remove the whole system?

If the turbo is intact, are you willing to sell the wastegate seperate?

Also, as far as legitimacy of model, it's hard to believe when the badge is on the wrong side of the trunk.

I'm sure Shawn D. would be happy to convert it for the right price. You won't be allowed to watch, because it's a secret process involving beer, pizza, and Shawn's buddies from the local tavern.

Yes, vatoloco is right, the turbo was destroyed(siezed) by the previous owner... and i don't have it anymore, a friend of mine wanted to see if he could refurbish it.. there was no stock intercooler or anything like that by the way..

and in europe i don't think they badge their cars, so go figure the previous owner probably put it on the wrong side, all i know is the door jamb(sp?) says "745i" on it and the little vin plaque thing i sold vatocolo also says "745i" on it..

this sale is for the engine only, but you do get the turbo headers with it, which look like any normal headers to me, except for the square output side... if anyone's interested in the engine pm me and i can send you pics of everything

i might start a new thread with more pics sometime soon.. i i'll throw in the radiator and hoses for like $20 too, i just want this stuff GONE!!
