Spark plug wire compatibility: m30b35 and '88 Eta
I have an '88 528e with a broken ignition pulse sensor, and coincidentally I have a spare set of m30b35 ignition wires in the garage. The part numbers and distributor cap boots are different, but does anyone have experience running m30 wires on a m20 engine? Could I run the #6 m30 wires on my m20? Thanks

You can interchange them. I've run the whole M30 wire set.
You can also run standard eta plug wires without the sensor. It is used for injector sequencing, without the signal the DME will just fire all six together. You won't notice a difference.
