FS : 97 M3 146K Auto 3.91 LSD or 2.93 LSD *UPDATE 05/02*

*UPDATE* New caliper is on and it has cured the intermittent vibe that it had. Also power steering is no longer struggling after new fluid added and air bled out.

FOR SALE, is a 97 M3 Automatic sedan in fair to good condition I'd say.
It has 146K miles.

Long story made short : I bought this as a donor car to swap the engine and some other bits into my E28.
Health circumstances force the sale.
I drove this puppy home over 200 miles and had no problems, It had been sitting for close to a year.

It will need oil filter housing gasket, valve cover gasket, possibly coolant expansion tank or maybe just secured better. It has the ABS light on the dash and ASC light on, from a wheel speed sensor was told.

The engine pulls like a freight train as far as the E36 M3 goes, I've driven a few in stock form and this one seems to be stronger than any other I've driven, no doubt helped by the 3.91 LSD. The transmission shifts flawlessly (though I imagine a buyer would manual swap in it's future). It has had suspension upgrades, billsteins (sp?) on there.
The front seats are a bit chewed up, rear seat is great. Door liners/skins seem good, no windows leaked in the rain on the way home. All windows and sunroof work. Heat and A/C work. It's got a new battery. Gave it a fresh oil change when I got it home. Has an alpine stereo with AMP in trunk. Rust situation is pretty ok, it's starting in a few places, but I think it's quite manageable at the moment if you were to get on it soon. 3 spots where rust is starting, 1) behind rear license plate, 2) bottom edge of one door, 3) rear drive side wheel arch. 1 and 2 are minor, 3 you can see a bit of rust poking through. Jacking points are all solid.

I've got two prices, one with the 3.91 LSD $3200.
And one with a 2.93 LSD $2800.

I'm firm on these, as you can hardly find a low mileage engine alone for those prices, not to mention a decent whole car.
