FS: 1985 535i, 5spd...

Post by RobbieR »

**SOLD**

Up for sale is my 1985 BMW 535i, 5-speed in Bronzit Beige (I know....I know...Bronzit. The coolest color EVER). I bought it in Southern California from another enthusiast and have owned it for the past 15 years. I’ve put about 30k miles on it since then and it has never left me stranded. It’s not a daily driver, and I’m not finding a lot of time to enjoy it. The car has always been garaged and has rarely seen rain. It has approximately 215k miles. The odometer gear broke at 205k (easy fix with parts available).

Specs:
Original M30 motor with approximately 215k miles
Never been in an accident. Carfax available.
Clear Title

Good:
All receipts dating back to 2001
Jim Conforti Chip
Dinan Springs
16” Style 33 wheels and Kumho tires in excellent condition
No rips or tears in carpet or seats
Only a few small cracks on dashboard
A/C works, but is not super cold
Very minimal rust
Master cylinder recently replaced
Brake Bomb replaced by previous owner
Heater Control Valve replaced by previous owner
Control Arms/Idler Arms/Tie Rods replaced by previous owner
Trailing arm supports replaced by previous owner
Front/Rear struts replaced by previous owner
Rotors replaced by previous owner
Complete Bentley Manual included
99% Complete trunk tool set with blue cloth. Only missing a 10mm wrench
Extra instrument cluster
All glass is in good shape - small 1” crack on windshield which is sealed.

Not so good:
Clear coat is gone on the trunk and part of the right side.
Overhead Sensor console is shot and indicates all red.
Radio is dead.
Need circuit breaker for windows
Will eventually need new clutch down the road

Asking $3,800

Im not interested in the car. It's just best practice to post Vin when you list a car. It helps everyone track the history and keeps things transparent.
