WTB : Euro M5 Chin Spoiler Hardware

I am looking for the mounting bolts or mounting clamps that bolt up to the euro m5 chin spoiler. Part number 51711912659 if i am correct. yes i know they are NlA but was just checking here to see if anyone had some laying around or know where i can get my hands on some.

As mentioned in the bottom of my thread you linked to, mobiletradition suggested that parts 51711933719 (clamping bolt) and 16131176747 (plastic nut) used in e30s as an alternative. The combo looks like it works. The clamping bolt is the same design, just requires a plastic nut which probably isn't as secure as the original hardware. Reach out to Ordnator to see if it did.

pelican parts has both the clamping bolt & plastic nuts available i will order them and see how they fit thank you for the help!

Just go with the plastic nuts and the E30 clamping bolts. No reason the plastic nuts wouldn't be as secure. There's no pressure on them, they are simply holding it in position.

Hi,

I used the E30 clamping bolt solution for both of my Eta's and they set up and fixed securely enough.

Still hanging onto the front of both cars after 90 knot shake down test drive of 50ish miles on both cars when returning home from the body shop.

On issues with this solution from this call sign.

Yes thank you for the input im going with e30 clamping bolt & plastic nut it should be fine. Thank you for the help

I can confirm that the E30 plastic nut version works perfectly. Installed mine in May.
