Curious minds would like to know how the tow-truck driver picked it up off the driveway without damaging the concrete. Was it on rollers of some sort or did he just drag it up? I'm in the process of parting out a non-roller in my driveway and need to evaluate an exit strategy.

I thought ahead and had bought a set of these.
I put one under the front cross-member on the front clip.
He used the ramp to jack up the rear.

When I had my 535is picked up, I used jackstands in the front and a 24x36 Dayton Dollie I had from Grainger along with two huge chunks of laminated corrugated cardboard I got in a box with my E12 core support. I placed that under the spare tire well. Driver picked the front up and the car rolled nicely until he picked it up. Couldn't have worked any better. Wheels are key.
