Hello. Glad you be joining the forum. Just got this a month ago after selling my E34 m5 last winter and missing owning a classic BMW badly. Here are a few pictures for you. 181k miles, bilstein struts, bav auto springs, Z3 short shifter, B&B triflow exhaust. Just painted the front trim and color matched the mirrors myself.

That looks sensational!

So what are your impressions going from an E34 M5 to an E28 535i?

Speed would be the biggest difference for me. The M5 would absolutely scream above 3k RPM and 2nd gear was a thrill. I also simply miss having an M car, but the 535i is making me very happy in style, drivability, and feel.I am less intimidated by the e28 though and more encouraged to do maintenance items and work on it myself/ it badly needs a beefier sway bar though. here a shot of the e34...

I am in the middle of doing a big front brake upgrade, upgrade sway bars, engine chip, upgrade thrus arms. Also planning to refresh rear bumper.

Some autocross could be fun.

just replaced odometer gears, got the AC nice and cold, new exhaust hangers and as you can see from the pictures I hand painted the front plastic bumper trim and grill. Here is a recent picture with my new high beam skins. I will get some interior shots up soon- red cardinal comfort seats with an e46 M3 steering wheel.

Delphin and Cardinal is my favorite combo. I'll own one someday...
