I was offered a e28 528i and on the phone the owner said that the car has hartge h5 engine in it. Well I'm a little suspisious if there is only the valvecover installed, I haven't seen the car or pictures of it yet. The owner didn't know much about it, there might be some hartge bits like bodykit or parts of it. So it's not build by hartge that's for sure, someone of the previous owners just did the engine transplant.
So how am I supposed to know if the head is indeed a hartge? I own 3 other e28's (two m30 mtechs and a 520i) so I know a little about these cars, just don't have any experience with hartge bits. I'm hoping to find hartge headers and other cool stuff when I go to check it out today. I will apreciate all info
