They were supposed to be used on my 528i, but I realized that Joel had been trying to find some for a while, so there ya go.

Did you ever look at a different solution to the intake other than a cone filter?

Yes that was never meant to be the final solution to the Intake, My long term intention has been to adapt an E28 M5 air box.

The Cone has worked fine for now and hasn't been at the top of the list, I have been tweaking the suspension with different springs and added some Koni sway bars.

That's a brilliant solution, I had tried to imagine essentially every airbox manufactured by BMW since 1980 in that spot except for the e28 M5 :facepalm:
