These had been collecting dust in the basement since about 2008. Tried listing them for sale, but not much interest. Finally decided to do something with them. Can't really tell from this phone pic, but it's a pearl white (powder coat) with a mild blue/purple-ish tint that I think will go well with my Royal Blue 535is. Have some white flush-fit valve stems to go with them. Hopefully have them mounted soon.

Fenders will get trimmed, and possibly shave a couple of mm from the rear wheels to bring them to ET16 or 17.
Far as tires, I like a mild stretch/poke. But the only size I have considered for the rear is a size that has been phased-out by the industry, 235/50. Think only two manufactures remain, with only 3 options combined, and are all racing or track tires. Really don't want to go with a 245, although that would actually be "a mild stretch/poke".

This was the stock size for E31 on their 16"s. And as silly as it is, I've found a couple of really good used Michelins from E31's that aren't so old, with newish-like tread. (thanks to member missmye21 for one of those).

When I got a set of style 8s with Gorgeous AVS intermediates on them, I tried them on the 533 with stock suspension. As soon as I got in the car, the left rear fender hit the tire.

It was all me.
There was a little mis-communication that resulted in what I would call a 2% error in execution, but that was also my fault.
Thought about doing a black pin stripe along the break (bottom of slant) edge of the lips, but decided against it.
Where are the pictures of the M30 pliers?

I think that would be a great addition.

By the way, I've heard that this stuff is great for keeping wheels clean easily. I haven't tried it yet, but I will when I get my style 32s refinished.

They look fantastic although the keeping them looking clean will be a nightmare especially on the front.

Very very keen to know where you got your old school roundels from. I'm currently refurbishing a set of wheels and would love to put that type of roundel on them.
