Why do you guys stick the registration label on the driver's side of the windscreen? Doesn't that distract & annoy the living piss out of you having to see that all the time as your driving along?

I went with Bilstein Sports all around with ST springs. Gives the car the very aggressive feel without overkill. So I can drive it pretty much anywhere without too much trouble. Very streetable IMO. Very happy with the set up.

Well in New Jersey that's just a safety inspection/emissions sticker (Like your RWC). Not all states work that way but about 10-15 that I can think of do. In some states it's the registration sticker there, in some states it's a small decal on the license plate..etc.

I concur. Perfect ride height. Good rule of thumb is drop the rear until the bottom on the arch is exactly level with the top of the tyre and then drop the front to the equivalent height keeping the same rake. Never fails to look good.

Thanks guys. I did a ton of research before picking out the suspension and got some help from Steve Haygood. Of all the options out there for springs, this was the ideal choice. The other would have been M-tech springs but I understand these ST springs are slightly firmer. Others have said that Koni fronts and Bilstein rears were the way to go but I wasn't liking the idea of mixing brands so I stuck with Bilsteins all around.

For the caps, I ordered them through Bavauto. Turns out there are 60mm emblems out there so I took off the TSW and put the factory emblems and it made a world of a difference in looks.

Good move sticking with same brand all round. FWIW you made the right decision not going with the M-Tech. I've just sold the M-Tech springs that came out of my M535i so I know what I'm talking about.

The M-Techs would be about 20mm (3/4") higher than what you have now *and* they'd be a harsher ride too I'm guessing. Mine were. Going slightly lower forces the use of a progressive spring which the M-Techs aren't. That gives you better small bump insulation whilst stiffening up when you push it. The M-Techs by contrast don't look as good, transmit more of the small bumps and then wallow, pitch and roll when you push it.
