Sabine is a legend... shes done more nordschleife laps than probably anybody. She's one of the drivers for the M5 Ring Taxi, she ran/(runs?) a bar near the track. Her last name has been "Schmitz" and also "Rechts" (Rechts is german for "Right", as in the direction)... she was married for a while but perhaps not currently?
The wait list to get a ring taxi ride with her driving is ~1 year. She took her moms car without permission one night and did her first ring lap before she even had a license.
Search for "Sabine Schmitz" to find loads and loads of info on her... lots of guys shoot in-car movies when they're Ring Taxi passengers with her. She is usually catching air, 4 wheel drifting, and passing everything in sight....with 3 passengers and 1 hand on the wheel, laughing at the passengers and shaking her fists at the slow 1-liter semi-race bikes that wont get out of her way.

I'm not sure what an FHM shoot would add to her appeal?So what you're telling me is that she can drive my BMW minutes faster than anyone else around the Nordschleife, she's got a pub *and* she looks like Heidi Klum?!?!?!??
Holy crap!! She's too perfect to be true! This girl simply *has* to do an FHM shoot.
(recycle my opinion from the Danica Patrick discussion - FHM makes women anonymous, i can't ever tell who i am looking at when they're dolled up and naked. The airbrush makes all women the same)
In any case, i think Patrick is actually a bit better looking, but that Sabine is the better driver and the more appealing of the two

I am not sure, but i bet you could find out at Ben Lovejoy's site.. www.nurburgring.uk i think.
I went i March of 05.. you will not be able to get to Nurburg without hiring a car.. no real public transit to speak of. The 06 Touristenfahren schedule is coming soon but not out yet i think (the same .uk site would have that). That will tell you what days you can drive whatever road legal car you have with you.. i took my Avis rental car (which is technically against the rental agreement, so i didn't bother getting the collision damage waiver) and did 6 laps on opening day of 2005. It's worth going around once or twice at 0/10ths just to see what its like.
Obviously a ride with Sabine would be ideal, but failing that there is also the Zakspeed Viper you can get rides in.. much shorter waitlist i think. Also, if you join the ringers list you can generally say something to the effect of "hi, i will be there this weekend, who else is coming, and can i get a passenger ride?" It's customer to give the driver some beer and pay for their lap tickets, but most ringers are happy to give passenger laps and some of them have _very_ prepared cars.

Man, she's just loafing until she passes that guy at about 8 minutes. After that she really starts to lay it down.
She's definitely on the short list for "Women I will pursue if this marraige doesn't work out". Of course, I'm in 18 years with no end in sight, so I guess Sabine doesn't exactly need to clean out a dresser drawer for me...
