Gruppe,

I was going through pictures that I'd like to upload, and I found these pics of a H&B 533i. This car was owned by John Savoca in CA for a while, and, as I recall, it was sold to Paul Ladue. Not sure its fate after that.

These are the pictures that John sent me when I was considering its purchase a few years ago. At the time I was talking to John about it, he had a full Zender body kit that he was considering installing along with Euro bumpers, because the H&B 533i's originally came with a Zender kit.

In case you lose this link, you can go to my home page, click on More Links, and then click on the link to the H&B car from there. Anyway, enjoy.

Yes, this is true. She met with some "immovable objects" although some of her parts were sent to donor cars.

RIP

Those seats are Scheel seats. We rebuild a lot of them here. Outstanding quality, getting very hard to find, and worth good money when we do find them. This is what they look like in GOOD shape! You can see 2 other sets of Scheel seats leaning on the wall. They've all since been rebuilt and sent out.

I sold a similar rebuilt set with vinyl bolsters, and tweed inserts for $1250 last month.

Brad, I got to ride in the H&B just before John sold it. The car had a replacement M30b34 motor with a new turbo unit. I took these pics when Mr. LaDue came up to purchase the car. It was a rocket and CA Smog-legal, too!

Note the "Kiss My Ass" posture...(Just kidding, Paul)!

The car in it's last configuration. The intake pipe was painted bright magenta??? ~0

After it's untimely demise, John retrieved the Scheel seats and glass moonroof.
They're going into his S38-M535 project car! :D

I purchased the H&B turbo engine from Paul after the "fender bender". It now sits under the bonnet of my '83 Hartge H5S, while the original M30 tuner sits on a shelf awaiting resurrection (and a short block). I haven't gotten the turbo dialed in yet, but in due time....
