I'm Jelmer Eppinga from Holland and I drive a '84 528i where I put in a S38B38 from a '94 M5.

NICE!! How's that beastie drive? I can't read Dutch (I think that's the langauge, right?), so could you tell us what drivetrain you used?

I use a close ratio gearbox from a M535i with a E28 M5 clutch. Brakes are from a E34 M5; 300mm ventilated rear and 315mm front.

Beautiful. How long did it take for he swap ? Any complications along the way? Once again, amazing car with a good engine choice.
