It weighs a touch over 3000 lbs and has about 400hp. Dinan originally planned to build 50 cars to this spec, but only ten were actually built. Two of them are coupes, and the other one is no longer street legal, making this one a sort of one-off. Here's a pretty exhaustive list of what's on it:
Dinan Supercharger with CAI/all high flow back to Shrick intake manifold, free flow exhaust and stage 2 suspension and Xenon conversion added Oct.2003.
During the recent conversion at Dinan's factory, the following changes were made:
Engine: CAI, High Flow Throttle Body and High Flow Air Mass Meter into Shrick High Flow IM, underdrive pulley for Supercharger (increases boost from 6 pounds to 10psi). The Integrated Engine Oil Cooler, Intercooler with Supplemental Fan, High Flow Cold Air Intake, and Enhanced Fuel Delivery System (requires its own software!) all operate during boost with larger High-flow Fuel Injectors to provide ram air effect sucking through the new integrated ducting in front bumper. Along with reprogrammed Engine Management Software, Free Flow Exhaust completes the engine update;
Suspension: Stage 4 (a matched system of performance springs, with specially revalved ISR Koni/Dinan shocks, bigger (and) adjustable swaybars, front camber plates, camber-adjustable rear subframe and strut tower brace), Differential Mount Reinforcement Kit, and Fikse wheels (17x 8.5" with 255/40-17 front and 17x 9.5" with 285/40-17 rear tires);
Drive Train: Lightened Aluminum Flywheel (15lbs lighter), heavy-duty Stage 2 Clutch with 20% higher clamp rate and Final Drive lowered to 3.38:1 via LSD rear end;
Brakes: Cryoed and cross-drilled Brembo rotors and cryoed Porterfield R4S street/comp pads.
Abundant Dinan advertising (badging, carbon fiber engine covers, embroidered headrests, floor mats etc.)
