Figaro

Post by grahamular »

I was at the Port of Baltimore yesterday, and noticed this little Figaro in the back corner of the RoRo holding lot. It looked like it had been sitting there for quite a while...I guess only 4 more years until it's exempt from DOT/EPA for import :(

Or more likely maybe waiting for a Show or Display application to get approved.

Damn. Aren't there more important things for the government to waste their time with?

It'd be pretty neat if the US would allow us to bring in Japan's bubble cars and all... But that doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon, though, won't it?

The first time I saw the Figaro, I thought it looked pretty ugly, but after seeing it a few times, it's kind of begun to grow on me. I like the retro look that this thing has.

But yes, it's a shame that it sounds like it has been sitting out there for a while...

That is a cool little car. It would be pretty cool to see cars like that and others such as the Suzuki Cappuccino allowed here. Good luck with that actually happening though.

Nice shot. It is right next to our lot where our tractors and construction equipment is stored. It was not there a couple for weeks ago so it likely has not been there too long
