Does anybody know an aftermarket solution for this part?
I think the OEM must be very expensive. In europe around 200-300 Dollars a full set.

You mean round the windsheild and rear glass? The plastic part? These are fairly cheap if I remember, I would buy it new from BMW.

Yes. Some of them Not listed anymore. Maybe the front shadowline?

According to what I have found all the black parts are available

Front 51 31 1 959 969
Rear Sides 51 31 1 959 997
Rear Top 51 31 1 959 980

Worst case if one of the rears is not available you can buy the front part and cut it.

If you are looking for the actual finishers in black then I would suggest you do what shagrath did to those finishers.

The black plastic lock strips for the M5 are horrible in quality. In less than a year the outer black vinyl cover shrinks in length, leaving wrinkles. I have replaced mine twice, and my dealer did not honor the 2-year BMW parts warranty. I will try using the black E30 lock strips next.

I did this. The strips are a roll so you can fit them tighter than OEM. Won't have gaps in corners later.
