Interesting OEM M30 "turbo" manifold

Looking through the Internet with no particular direction in mind (am I the only one doing it?...), I have found this interesting model of BMW M30 exhaust manifold, which was fitted on various RHD models of the '70ies.

Most likely, this RHD exhaust manifold had to be different from that fitted on LHD vehicle, in order to clear the steering box.

But I wonder if it wouldn't make a cool, poor man's OEM manifold for you turbo guys (left hand drive, of course)?
Without considering issues that should be further investigated (such as turbo sitting maybe too low, or the need of an integral wastegate turbo model), a simple custom manifold -to-turbo adapter flange would make the day.
And you could also implement nowadays BMW buzz-word features such as "twin scroll single turbo", with the exhaust of cyl. 1-3 being independent of the exhaust of cyl. 4-6.

What do you say? :)

It probably wouldn't work as well as the stock manifolds with a manifold adaptor I.E. BBR's manifold.

geing a right hand drive country,a couple of us down here have looked at the log.as theres plenty of them round here.
wouldnt take too much to cut off the lower 'down pipe' section and weld on a a piece of RHS and flange.

also with a little porting, flip it over to make it into a top mount
manifold.either way,a cheap option and dont see any reason why it wouldnt work.
