Where to find E34 interior color code

Post by Danny »

I know there are some on this board that have E34s, so I'm hoping for help from them. I recently got a 91 535i that could use some work on the seats. I plan to get some products from Leatherique to include dye. I've looked unsuccessfully for the build sheet to get the color code....so I'm asking for help locating the code. The interior is what appears to be a light silver (not my favorite color).

Thanks,
Danny

Do you have the last seven of your VIN handy?

If Dan can't get the color, post a photo. There weren't that many e34 interior colors and likely someone here, myself included, will be able to tell you the color.

There are some on this board that don't have E34s and may have your info. Would it be ok to help if we don't have an E34?
You can take your VIN to any dealer and ask them for your build sheet. The parts dept is helpful that way.

Here is the 10-90 color chart for the E34.

The 535i has 0451 color code for the Light Silvergray interior.

Thanks Blue Shadow. The 0451 looks just like the interior I have. I didn't mean to imply that only E34 folks would have the info....guess I should have worded it differently. I know about getting the info from a dealer but there's none near me.

Thanks again,
Danny

0451 it is. You've got a limited slip differential too. Yaaay.
