FYI, ALL model years of the E24 6ers had 5 speeds available. The 87, 88 and 89s had lower numbers of 5 speeds than other years, but they had them. I just saw an 89 with a 5 speed on a craigslist, I think it was the bay area, can't remember for sure.

The only model 6 you could NOT get the 5 speed in was the L6. You may want to edit your ad, it sounds a bit misleading.

....and the term "Bavarian Ferarri" was coined for the ///M6, not the 635csi.

The man is trying to sell the thing, not write a book. For what it's worth, that is a gorgeous car for a very reasonable price.

should mention how in this year the HP and torque jumped quite a bit from the other years

I had a '88 635 5spd. With a 4.10 lsd, and bilstein sport/eibach suspension to overcome the extra weight it was a LOT of fun to cruise in. A B-road with fairly fast corners was it's favorite. The b35 is a treat.

lets try $3950.....................i cant start on the two e28s i have here ( 88 super eta, and 84 533 ) till i sell the 6er...............
