What type of caulking do I use to seal my two peice wheel after its been taken apart?

Go to Home Depot or Lowes and find some exterior caulk that works on metal. Really just about any non-hardening silicon caulk will work.
Some wheels may be different, but for mine (Keiser) I was told to not put the sealer between the mating faces. Bolt the wheel together, torque it down, then apply the sealer to the seam. Then smooth it out with your finger making sure it's into the gap really well.
The wheel I rebuild sealed better than when they were new.
