4pt roll bar and rear flares are installed. Still all the finish work to complete on the flares but the 11.5" tires on the 15x9 wheels fit perfectly. Old motor and twin turbo come out next week.

Sorry if I missed an update - did you fabricate the flares? I can't tell from the pics how you fastened them? Something I would like for my 6. Thanks!

That is just damn cool...BMW does Pro-Street. I love it.

Hmmm - how about a M62 with a 5spd auto and a positive displacement supercharger - never mind I am getting ahead of myself.

Very nice Todd...

It's built to NHRA rules for a unibodied car up to 10.50 and 130mph.

Looks awesome, I can't wait to see it run.

What do you guys plan on doing with the twin turbo set up?

Me either but Sweeney was 600 miles away whan all this was done by a local fabrication shop. I had to actually pay for the roll bar and flares. :bawl:

I was admiring the flairs too. I was going to ask if they were hammer formed or worked on an English Wheel. Very nice work indeed.

I would have just lagged on a few sections cut from a galvanized garbage can. After all, it would have been free (plus the cost of the can).

:D
