Anyone staying at the Clarion? What time are you planning on leaving for the Hendersonville airport? Would love to have some others E28 close by. You know mine, Arctic Blue with flaking paint full of scratches, dents and even some rust bubbles with Style 4 wheels.

The Vintage - Anyone at the Clarion?

I skipped this year.

Re: The Vintage - Anyone at the Clarion?
Just saw BenGerman in the corridor of the hotel but he came without the car. Said there are very few this year from the board. By the way, nice to meet you in person BenGerman!

Staying at an Airbnb about 15 minutes from the Clarion but planning on arriving right around 9. Is that the play? Is there an e28 "section"? Diamond black 535is with a green GA plate

With the damage to Hot Springs the event was at an airport in Hendersonville. How was the event this year?
Re: The Vintage - Anyone at the Clarion?
It was different probably for two reasons: the Hot Springs area is more friendly, nature oriented and hospitable area with it's square kind of show area is actually better for seeing more cars (at least that's how I feel). The airport runway is a long straight arrangement that became very long and kind of ackward. Also, there's nothing next to it since it's in a rural area (not many people want to leave next to an airport I guess). It was pretty busy and it didn't rain (yeah!) and there were four food trucks.
Re: The Vintage - Anyone at the Clarion?
Just saw this post upon my return home. I was there, but alas, without a BMW. I would say this is my least favorite venue, but still enjoyed the show. The airport runway did lend itself to the ability to run into more folks that you may know, as everyone was forced to walk up and down one aisle of display cars as opposed to the openness of the field at Hot Springs, or the random placing of cars in Winston Salem.
