Hello everyone!I’m selling a
1987 BMW 535is in awesome condition! It’s finished in
Alpine White (Alpinweiss) over a very nice and uncommon
Pacific Blue interior. This car is in really nice, original shape and has spent its entire life in
Texas—
zero rust.The
front valance, hood, roof, and trunk were recently repainted, and the entire car just received a
professional paint correction. The paint is now
perfect throughout! It also comes with a
stack of service records over 3 inches thick, along with the
original window sticker—a rare find! This is a very well-kept, clean example that’s ready for a new home.
Located in Rockford, IL

Your car looks great from here. Even the dash looks to be in beautiful shape for a car from the sunbelt. Is it a cap or was it replaced?
It also appears to have the same kind of rocker extensions (BBS) and perhaps rear apron (Zender) as mine does, also a lifelong TX car before my acquisition. Possibly from the same dealership when new?

Nice car but right now I'm more interested in what you have in your vintage JBL collection.

My name is Brian Bertotti. I live in Huntington Beach CA. Is your car still for sale? I am very interested in your car if it will pass CA smog.
Best,

If this car came from the Dallas area, there is a very good chance this was my car at one point. I bought the car in 1988 or 89 from Classic BMW when they were located on Central Expressway. I was driving down Greenville avenue which is on the backside of the dealership and where their preowned lot was located. I wasn't even in the market for a car that day but saw it outta the corner of my eye and decided to take a look. Two hours later I was calling my wife to get a ride down to the dealership to drive home my other car. I miss the e28 something bad and have started looking again for a garage project.
