At the risk of being chased out of town because this has been asked before...

I'm picking up a manual transmission (G260/5) kit that includes most of the parts, but does anyone have the "official" parts list including the refresh of transmission/engine seals while things are apart? There are really good tutorials out there but i couldn't find the part numbers.

Update - i found this kit for sale https://www.bimmerworld.com/Driveline-S ... 2-265.html, is that all i need for the transmission?

 

I've done the swap three times, but don't have a list of parts.

As for those seals, I suggest you go on RealOEM.com and look up the seals for the transmission that's going into the car.  I have no idea if those are the correct ones.

Remember you're somewhere inbetween. 260/5 trannys didn't come in 535s, they were 265 and 260/6. Seals ought to be straightforward, but mounting to the body may be less so. All very doable, just may take some double checking.
