Looking for a 524td.  Preferably a manual transmission.  Engine can be toast, I have more.  Let's see what is out there!  I am looking at nice ones ready to go and ones needing mechanical work.  Prefer a nice interior, exterior can be ugly.

US 524tds only came as autos, FYI. Manual swap is almost the same as an m20.

I had a gray market 1987 524td manual for 20 years! just recently sold it because it was incredibly hard to source parts for.

FYI….There is a 524td with manual conversion listed for sale near me in Beaufort, SC.  It’s on FB marketplace for $6500 by Christopher Holmsten.

Manuals pop up from time to time on marketplace. They are mostly all conversions as North American spec cars only came with automatic transmissions. The exception is are euro spec cars that are occasionally listed.
