Hello!
I have a BMW 535i that i am replacing the comfort seats with re-upholstered sport seats. I am in need of a complete set of working seat belts for these seats.
I am unable to use my current belts because they don't have the proper angle on the catch to attach to the sport seat. Can anyone help?

Belts or the receivers?

I could be wrong but I do believe that I have the seat belts from a 1987 535is unfortunately the receivers I do not have they are available new the later models Sports seat receivers with the solid red thing those are pretty poor condition all around and I really do recommend buy new they aren't quite the same as the old cool stuff but they're not all worn out. I do know that there early model Sports seat seat belt receivers and they're very good they never wear out I don't know BMW started losing their way after a while

Would it be possible to send a photo of the belt parts you do have? I can have a friend of mine who is helping to fit the seats tell me if they would work with a new pair of receivers (the bottom part)

I have found a set of new seat belts that will work, geez! The research. That is what my wife says about owning a classic car though! If you have already found those you have, let me know.
